Arastradero Preserve
Located in Palo Alto California, Arastradero Preserve is a public nature preserve managed by the city of Palo Alto. Being on the borders of the Silicon Valley and a short drive for a lot of residents, Arastradero is popular for hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians. Despite its crowded reputation, I've found the preserve can be quite vacant in the early mornings, which is a great time to find the wildlife wandering about before the abundance of visitors chase them away.
