The Palo Alto Baylands along the San Francisco Peninsula offers extrordinary opportunities for bird watching and bird photography. The roads and trails of the Baylands skirts nearby marshland populated by an incredible number of bird species. Amongst the many common residents found year-round - including Egrets, Herons, and Hawks - there are also numerous seasonal birds who use the Baylands as a resting point along their Pacific migration route.
