Fish for Dinner - Green Heron

Green Heron catching a fish along the shores of Westlake Pond, Santa Cruz, California. The Green Heron is known to lure fish closer to catch them, and this Heron spent a good part of ten minutes at the water's edge doing so. Finally one strike and the fish was speared, after which the Heron swallowed the fish in one bite.
