Bobcat staring down the photographer at Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve, California. The sound of my shutter disturbed the Bobcat in mid-hunt, an incredible thing to see. Unfortunately the combination of adrenaline and bad optics created an image that lacked the sharpness I normally desire and require in my photography.
