Milky Way - Seldon Pass

Milky Way above Seldon Pass, John Muir Wilderness. This photo, taken a few feet from my camp at Marie Lake, depicts the southern part of the sky, just above Seldon Pass (notch in ridge, right). Given the remote area, the stars can be extremely bright, and often one can see satellites creep across the sky.
