Evening at the inlet stream of Orchid Lake, John Muir Wilderness. Just a short distance from the John Muir Trail lies Orchid Lake, a remote lake with incredible views east towards Seven Gables. No trail is available to Orchid Lake, leaving one to navigate through steep forest and granite shelves to reach this lake.
