Japanese White Eye

Japanese White Eye perched on the flowering stem of a Hibiscus Plant, Waimea River Valley, North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. A species introduced to Oahu in 1929 from Japan, the Japanese White Eye can now be found across the Hawaiian Islands, and some say is the most common bird.
