Sundrift - Winnemucca Lake - El Dorado National Forest

Setting sun near Winnemucca Lake, Mokelumne Wilderness, El Dorado National Forest. The winds were blowing so hard it was difficult to stand up. I waited for the moment when the sun just reached the distant ridge. As the snow blew past, I set up my camera and when the moment came, the wind suddenly stopped. Faint remnants of the blowing snow can be seen across the snow surface.
