Star Col - High Sierra

Sunrise atop 'Star Col', John Muir Wilderness. Camped just above Desolation Lake in Humphreys Basin, it was an early rise and fun climb in the moonlight to reach this un-named pass for sunrise. Looking over Star Lake in the John Muir Wilderness with Pine Creek Pass and Royce Lake Basin in the distance, it was a fantastic place to sit and watch the light crawl across the landscape.
