Blue Lake - Sierra National Forest

Afternoon cloud reflection along the western shore of Blue Lake, Sierra National Forest. After a long cross-country hike over Blue Lake Pass, relaxing alongside this beautiful lake was just what was needed. More than once, I found myself taking walks around Blue Lake and its sister lake above, both providing spectacular views east towards Mount Ritter, Banner, and the Minarets.
