Hermissenda - Opalescent Sea Slug

Opalescent sea slug (Hermissenda crassicornis Nudibranch), Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, Moss Beach, California. A fascinating find in the intertidal zone along the Pacific Coast, this specimen was approximately an inch in length and underneath several inches of turbid ocean water, making photography extremely difficult.
