I recently had the opportunity to visit the Big Island of Hawaii. Some incredible scenery and wildlife, we spent time snorkelling with Manta Rays, enjoying the beaches, and exploring Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Many of the images from this trip have been added to the Hawaii webpage in the archives.

Although much of my most recent photography has been around the San Francisco Bay Area, I did have the chance to make a winter snowshoe trip into Sequoia National Park. Images from this and more can be found on the High Sierra webpage in the archives.

Lastly, I have written two new articles. The first is a tutorial on Backyard Bird Photography. The second describes several tips and techniques for web designers and photographers on image protection for the web.
