Crimson Sphinx - Sunset in Sphinx Lakes Basin

Sunset in Sphinx Lakes Basin, Kings Canyon National Park, CA. After hiking all day in the on and off rain and snow, I finally reached camp late in the afternoon. While preparing dinner, a break in the clouds to the west let the sun peak underneath the clouds, lighting up the entire basin in a a beautiful pink glow.
