Shooting Star flowers in Kaweah Basin, Sequoia National Park. The mosquitos swarmed through this meadow like guardians protecting their throne, making photography difficult as they buzzed around my ears and in front of my camera. Kaweah basin is dotted with small alpine meadows such as this.
