McClure Meadows - John Muir Trail

McClure Meadows, Kings Canyon National Park. Looking up towards Evolution Basin in the High Sierra, this meadow houses a season park ranger whom I had met as I hiked towards Evolution Lake. The ranger brought good news about an upcoming weather change - at this point during my hike of the John Muir Trail I had endured seven straight days of rain, the ranger indicating there was better weather on the horizon.
