A family of Snowy Egrets congregating on the nest, Palo Alto Baylands, California. Every spring Snowy Egrets, Great Egrets, and Black Crowned Night Herons nest in the palm trees at Palo Alto Baylands within a few feet of walking trails, giving onlooker a great chance to observe these birds.
